Abstract:
Results from the Measurement of the Total Active 8B Solar Neutrino Flux at the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory (SNO) with Enhanced Neutral Current Sensitivity are presented. Good agreement with the pure D2O phase is obtained. The differences in the two detector configurations will be discussed, from the point of view of extracting the neutrino signal. An update of the detector status will be given. Finally, opportunities for underground, low count rate and low background experiments in the newly funded SNOLAB facility in Sudbury will be highlighted.
