Abstract:
I review the new results on B-meson decays with an emphasis of their
usefulness for determining the fundamental parameters of the standard
model and new physics. Then I will discuss a new theoretical
development, the effective collinear theory which provides a convenient
tool to descripe systematically hadronic decays and show some of
its applications.
