Abstract:
Swiss Accelerator and Technology (CHART) is an umbrella organization for Swiss research collaborations dedicated to accelerator science and technology for the Future Circular Collider (FCC) and synergies with the Swiss accelerator-based Research Infrastructures. It was established 10 years ago by the EPFL, ETHZ, Uni Geneve, Paul Scherrer Institute (Host) and CERN, supported by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and the ETH Board. R&D topics include the high-field superconducting magnets, accelerator systems, in particular FCC-ee injector, and beam dynamics for FCC-ee. Highlights will also include spinoffs for light and neutron sources, as well as fusion development.
