Abstract:
The Swiss Institute of Particle Physics (CHIPP) brings together the Swiss
particle physics community and represents its interests at the national and
international levels. In this colloquium, I will present a brief overview of
CHIPP's history, organisation and activities, highlighting its role in
coordinating and supporting particle physics research in Switzerland. I will
also discuss some of the current challenges and opportunities facing the Swiss
particle physics community.
