Abstract:
The measured valued of the muon anomalous magnetic moment exhibits a
puzzling three sigma discrepancy when compared to its Standard Model
values. I will review the theory of the muon anomalous magnetic
moment and I will argue that it is understood well-enough to be
responsible for the current disagreement.
