Abstract:
The ATLAS and CMS collaborations observed an excess of events above
the expected background, with a local significance of 5.0σ, at a
mass near 125 GeV. The decays of this new particle indicate that it
must be a boson: the heaviest boson observed so far.
The most recent experimental results on the Higgs search will be presented
together with an outlook of the future perspectives
