Abstract:
Several bold proposals for future high energy physics colliders are now
under discussion as part of the European Particle Physics Strategy
Update process. The Open Symposium that took place last week in Granada,
Spain examined both near and far future possibilities and expected
performance of the future generations of colliders. The talk will
concentrate on the accelerator science and technology challenges these
proposals face and the ways our community is undertaking to address
them. Both different implementations of Higgs factories and the way to
reach ultimate high energies and performance will be presented.
