Abstract:
In this talk, I first give an introduction of the dispersion theory of
the nucleon electromagnetic form factors. In such an approach,
fundamental prnciples like unitarity and analyticity are fulfilled and
the structure of the nucleon can be analyzed. I will discuss the proton
and neutron radii emerging in this approach and give some new results
based on improved tow-photon corrections. In the second part, I present
a new calculation of the proton form factors in the time-like region
close to threshold, with emphasis on the proton-antiproton final state
interaction.
