Abstract:
ALMA is a unique facility with an extraordinary sensitivity which will
breakthrough many astrophysical and Cosmological fields. Open issues in
Cosmology such as the presence of dark energy, Dark matter candidates in
galaxy clusters and the physics of the intergalactic medium will be
addressed with dedicated ALMA observations. In addition I will show how
science operations of a big project as ALMA is world-wide organised and
how European users may apply to get their desired observations and have
access to the data.
