Abstract:
In this talk I will show that color fields constructed from simple
building blocks, the instantons, give rise to confinement - the system
cannot be dissociated into the building blocks and the interaction
energy of two color charges increases linearly with their distance. I
will discuss random and dynamical properties of the field
configurations, report on the results for various observables and will
exhibit the evidence for formation of flux-tubes.
